NextWorld Capital appoints Odile Roujol as Advisor In Residence

NextWorld Capital is excited to announce that Odile Roujol has joined the firm as an Advisor In Residence, based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Odile’s position serves as an extension of NextWorld Capital’s prominent European Advisor Group, which consists principally of 75 C- and VP-level executives from the largest FTSE 250 European companies. In this capacity, she will work with NWC portfolio companies to help them grow their operations in Europe and strategize on working with the leading European companies as partners, customers and channels.

Odile was most recently the Chief Strategy and Data Officer at Orange (a leading $40 billion+ market cap French telco in 30 EMEA markets with 350 million customers), where she reported to the CEO of Orange France. She previously served as SVP of Brand and Communications and SVP of Marketing for the company. Before entering the technology and telecommunications field, Odile spent a large part of her career with major brands in the field of beauty and luxury as an executive with L’Oréal, Yves Saint Laurent and Bourjois (groupe Chanel). While with L’Oréal, she managed the Lancôme brand in France and the US and became Managing Director / President of Lancôme International in 2006 (the #1 worldwide cosmetic brand in luxury retail).

She is a Board Member of Groupama SA, a key European insurance company based in Paris. She’s also a Business Angel at @50Partners, a French accelerator funded by 50 entrepreneurs dedicated to supporting selected startups.
