Process work of section details

1:10 sections research

For our final presentation our renders, plans, and sections must be supplemented by 1:10 section details of specific components of our design. In total we need 4 drawings. Our group has decided to extract these drawings from the North-Westerly side’s individual pods. We have briefly gone over these together, but I have decided to look into them further before we allocate who will execute the actual drawings. These drawings consist of:

1. The roof connection to the green roof (thin green roof section).
2. The window connection to the wall.
3. The exterior connection the the wall and the foundation detail.
4. The thick green roof section with a canopy tree planted on top.

A couple of iterative sketches I did in preparation of executing the real thing.

Although we haven’t confirmed certain aspects of our design yet, I have done some process detail drawings to get a fair idea of the the amount of detail the drawings will need and how they will be set out. Below are some detail drawings that I have found which encompass similar aspects of our design scheme that we want to show. These drawings highlight the level of detail we intend to showcase, the various aspects we want to showcase and also how we intend on annotating the drawings:
