What are Ordinals?
Ordinals transform individual satoshis on the Bitcoin blockchain into uniquely marked, non-fungible tokens by inscribing them with simple images and complex scripts. This means each satoshi can carry unique data, turning it into an indivisible token directly on Bitcoin, eliminating the need for secondary layers or protocols. Every bitcoin can be divided into 100 million satoshis, and with Ordinals, these pieces are not just mere fractions but collectibles with distinct characteristics and values.
Essentially, Ordinals are NFTs on Bitcoin!
Why Trade Ordinals?
Recently, Ordinals have captured the imagination of the crypto community, creating a vibrant culture and community of enthusiasts. However, engaging with Ordinals directly on Bitcoin can be cumbersome due to the need for bridging for EVM users, the long block times of Bitcoin, and the high cost of top-tier Ordinals.

NodeMonkes: NodeMonkes is a collection of 10,000 unique digital images of quirky monkeys to ducks that live on the Bitcoin blockchain. The launch of NodeMonkes featured an auction in December 2023, where about 8,000 of these images were initially offered.
Earn Boosted Blast Rewards for Trading Ordinals!
In case you need another reason to try out Ordinals — we’ve also got additional Blast Gold available specifically for these markets for the next two weeks! The Gold will be distributed in addition to ongoing platform-wide incentives across the following activities (in order from most rewards to least):
AMM: Ordinals AMMs will receive an additional Gold allocation on top of the ongoing Blast rewards, to be distributed based on fees earned. In addition, all Pre-Launch Vault depositors will be eligible for a separate tranche of 20,000 Gold so long as they maintain any deposit in the AMM. This 20k will be split based on fees earned among only pre-launch depositors.
Trading Competition: The existing trading competition will now be Ordinals only. Your $WBTC PnL for the two Ordinals trading pairs will be tracked, with the following rewards being distributed if you qualify with a minimum of 0.05 WBTC total volume and positive PnL in a week. The competition will run from Monday to Monday (ending at 4pm UTC), with rewards outlined per week below.
Insurance Fund: Users who deposit WBTC in the Ordinals Insurance Fund will also be eligible for a Gold distribution in addition to one of the most promising real yield farm for $WBTC on Blast!
