Thanks for the kind words Mark! There’s a tendency to solve problems using the same approach because it’s our first gut reaction — awareness and acknowledgement of bias is the first step to changing habits that might prevent us from finding a better way to approach problems.

It is likely to be difficult to have a depth of knowledge in both areas (design and development). However, everyone is different and has a different set of skills — it may be more practical to start by focusing on one of the areas and supplementing it by studying the other.
