Assignment 3–3D Modeling and Printing (DueNov13)

1. File Work

• Standing figure: I created a random figure with a pyramid and taurus and used boolean union to combine them together. The standing figure could be used to hang earrings or small charms or possibly even something to dip into soap water to create bubbles.
• Box shaped cup: I extruded a square and made a box with two half taurus as handles on each side. This could possibly hold a small plant or succulent.
• Round cup with face: I used the extrude curve tool to extrude a circle and added in spheres for the two eyes and nose and used the boolean union tool to combine them together. The spheres made it look like a bug/fly. I decided to go with this model to 3D print and use it as a pencil/pen holder.
