Thursday Three
As a consistent, weekly ritual, each Thursday I will be sharing three pieces of content that I have consumed this past week that have challenged me to think differently.
- How organizations have changed their performance reviews: The landscape of performance reviews (and corporate America’s stance on employee performance, for that matter) is rapidly changing. More and more, organizations are recognizing the importance of open and honest feedback in developing leaders. Feedback is a gift, but it is also a crucial tool in improving oneself.
- 8 Things Every Person Should Do Before 8 A.M.: I have read hundreds of articles that outline “the habits of successful people” or “how to optimize your morning,” and Benjamin Hardy’s list of recommendations is by far the most useful (and least buzz-wordy) one I’ve seen. His simple tips guide you towards short-term rituals as well as long-term thinking to help keep you grounded and composed.
- Tony Robbins — on Achievement Versus Fulfillment: Tim Ferriss sits down with the world’s most famous performance coach to discuss Tony’s best investment ever, the quotes he lives by, the worst advice he regularly hears, and much more. Well worth the listen.
