When you have been looking for job for as long as I have been a few people had said to me, strengthen those soft skills. Now I have been a working with a few web analytics software tools for just about 10 years.

Since Google Analytics is free well that has become my specialization. It can be used on website as well as numerous blogging platforms.

Now Google does offer a certification for Google Analytics. It is a 70-question test that you must score 80% to pass. The first time I took it I did not pass. I miss by about 4 questions. Well in order to improve my resume I had decided to make a strong effort to pass it this time.

I spent about 3 months preparing using a free test bank. What I did is simulate the test by selecting 70 questions every time. Once I got to a level where I was scoring 80% or above I decided it was time to take the exam. I practiced with no notes or looking at information online.

Now even the exam being open note and computer it is still administered by Google. Well I followed all the suggestions and passed the exam. It is industry recognized and that was a huge accomplishment for in 2013.
