Good one. What about PHP?

I dont have anything but anecdotal data on this one, but from what people who use both typically tell me is that for very basic CRUD stuff/Web pages, PHP is way ahead of python, but for anything else, Python wins by miles. One thing is that php isn’t really used anywhere except web, so it lacks in some general purpose libraries you might want. It also is lacking an official dependency manager, though composer can get the job done.
