Dear Readers, welcome back to Seaspray D’s Wanderlust travel series — this time he is off to Vietnam.
As my human slave heads for the clouds in this story telling extravaganza — I lady Donga Pussycat will take a well-deserved nap — while he of course takes over the narration:
The Malaysian Airlines Airbus A320 had just departed Kuala Lumpur and we were soon on our way to the capital city of Vietnam — Hanoi.
Prior to taking off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), I struck up conversation with fellow passengers in the departure lounge.
When they found out I was from Australia some of them were horrified.
“Oh, you have a racist politician — Pauline Hanson — does her hate speech against Asians and Indigenous Australians reflect the broader view of most Australians they queried?”
I assured them that this was not the case — and that Ms Hanson largely represented a minority who had such opinions. Sadly politicians like this tell people what they want to hear in their divide…
