I certainly agree with you. But I think there is lot of nuance and subtlety under the surface that shouldn’t be ignored.
For example “minimum” and “viable” differ across key disciplines (design, engineering and marketing).
Also, the terms are context sensitive. Do you need to demonstration your vision to early investment, or to attract talent? Are you trying to solicit meaningful feedback from real users? Are you trying to make an impression at a tradeshow? Are you trying to get somthing in the hands of an anxious alpha customer? The context will influence what should be considred “minimum” and “viable.”
