Thank you for sharing, Kurt! Adoption is something I support for us, too. We watched our friends as they were dragged through more than 2 years of privacy invasion and judgement and hoop-jumping before adopting their son — you’re right the process is a huge mess. I’m not sure if it’s worse or better than what we’ve been through. Hindsight? I might have just started the adoption process two years ago. We’re just so far down this rabbit hole now. If number two is a miscarriage, though, I might take the hint.
