How bad do you (really) have it?

I’ve thought before it would be interesting to see my wealth (over 40k, less than 60k), contrasted against citizens of countries with <1 Trillion in (nomial) GDP. A nice quick way to give perspective.

Unsurprisingly, there’s a site that does just (about) that, using the World Bank Development Research Group’s analytics. After a few searches, couldn’t find anyone to credit, but here’s the link:

It’s certainly easy to say something like “everyone has their own struggles”, but I view that as lazy, my problems are objectively better than those of this family.
