The trope I had always heard was that girls are easier when they are younger, boys are easier when they are older. As the parent of a young girl, you are only hearing half of the trope at the moment. Over-generalization and over-simplification? Absolutely. Are any children easy? Not if you’re doing it right. Remind your friends with boys of this in a few years and see how the conversation changes.
