I like the idea of ‘keystone’ habits. I’m always looking for high-leverage activities. Recently started working out again and, as you noted, improved diet and increased water intake follow automagically. As a data analyst, I think I’ll put a database spin on my journal so I can visualize, search and analyze too, but I’ve gotta get started creating the ‘data entries’ (I already do this in a limited sense by keeping goals and progress measures with my workouts).
