Once you have Homebrew squared away, use it to install Node Version Manager (NVM). NVM is cool as you can run multiple node versions on one box. Install NVM with Hombrew

You can install NVM using CURL


just update your .profile to the correct path:

export NVM_DIR=”/usr/local/opt/nvm”

[ -s “$NVM_DIR/nvm.sh” ] && . “$NVM_DIR/nvm.sh” # This loads nvm
