UCD Charrette

In my first design charrette, I worked with a team to design a possible car navigation system. We talked the scenario of a young single rich woman who was going to do her grocery shopping spontaneously.

We made a process chart then interface for our idea. Our system relied on push-to-talk to function effectively.

One of the problems we faced was that we weren’t used to the speed that was required. We had to learn to be quicker in sharing our ideas.

This project was a ton of fun and it was relatable to me thus I had plenty of thoughts ready.

Conceptual projects to tackle more uncommon project would benefit from this “Sprint” quickfire approach to get more ideas on the table in a limited time.
