The everlasting, annual drama-filled seasons since his return to East Ohio, LeBron James is finally fed up with the Cleveland Cavaliers organization, cussing out two execs of the team, blowing up in a heated exchange passed as a team meeting. Things are not looking good for the King in Ohio, as the Cavs continue their turmoil of poor basketball.

The Cavs, who are 5–13, since the return of thought-to-be helpful point guard, Isaiah Thomas, have been in full mid-season slump mode. The team is struggling to gather a rhythm, blowing a 21-point lead in an 18-point loss to the Orlando Magic on Feb. 6th, and reports of Isaiah Thomas ratting out the team’s issues to the media have caused a stir as well. James’ effort on the court is noticeably different; he doesn’t try on defense anymore, he can still score because he’s… LeBron James, but the effort isn’t there, and he appears mentally checked out. James has had a long-lasting rift with team owner, Dan Gilbert, since he left Cleveland for Miami in 2010, which led Gilbert to name calling in a letter addressed to James. James does not have a relationship with Gilbert and that has been reported several times. He shouldn’t have one with someone who called him a coward and several other names because he made a family and business decision.

His best friend, teammate, and friend of mine Dwyane Wade, has spoken to media about a return to his team of 13 years, the Miami Heat. James and Wade spent four years together on the Heat from 2010–2014, resulting in two NBA titles in that span. James was at his peak, his absolute best basketball, which won him two MVPs. Why not go back to a stable organization? Top 5 coach in Erik Spoelstra, young hoopers like Bam Adebayo, Justise Winslow, and Josh Richardson making strides in their development, and who could forget, it’s beautiful South Beach, Miami, Florida. James loves the game, and played his best and his happiest in Miami. Why not ride out into the sunset with your best friend where you two had your best memories? James is a free agent after this season and has not verbally committed to the Cavs. It’s time to return to South Beach, LeBron, in whatever way you have to do it, you do it.
