As I replied to Jim Balter, I did not want to further complicate my argument by proving that the First Amendment only restricts the Federal Government from infringing of the rights to free speech, etc.

Her main point of the article is not about the First Amendment, but rather about there being no rights violations at either of those locations. So, I started from a commonly held belief of the American public, i.e. that the First Amendment gives citizens certain rights. I did not want to write a longer reply proving a multitude of points including:

  1. There First Amendment restricts the Federal Government, and does not give any rights to anybody whatsoever.
  2. Negative rights exist.
  3. Protestors aggressed multiple individual’s rights to their body and property.
