Danna, this makes me sad (and also very angry) to read. I see mistakes like these made, though not nearly with this frequency. It is scary. There are more systems in place now to avoid some of these errors.
I will always advocate for you. I am a nurse. I tell my patients every day they can refuse any treatment or medication they don’t want. Listening is one of the most important things a healthcare worker can do. I am so sorry you were not heard and had these experiences. This will stick with me.
