Don’t serve static files with NodeJS

Node may be single threaded, but it has async IO so it is not correct to say the server makes everything else wait until the image has loaded in your example unless you explicitly load the file with “readfilesync”.

That being said Nginx is faster for serving static content, but a CDN is a better idea for a high traffic site.
