Non profits need to start leveraging the power of social-not just sending out a tweet, but actively making social sharing the most important part of their growth. If a non profit wants to do the most good possible, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be building out their social infrastructure. The key to revolutionizing the non profit sector, IMO, is to figure out a way to make donating and giving a subject to brag about and compete with others about in the social world. If non profits can leverage the inherent self interest of individuals for good-there’s no telling the impact we can make through giving.
