For the people who know me, y’all are probably already tired of me saying how I miss and love living in The Netherlands. Okay yes I hear ya! I agree, but I have reasons why living there has really changed my perspective on life and values. It impacts the way I live, how simple life can be, and how we can learn from the Dutch way of living.

In 2014, I moved to Canada to continue my education. I went to Bronte College, a private school in Mississauga. There are several reasons why I moved to Canada entering grade 12. Two of the main ones are following my sister’s path and to boost up my mark so that I can get into good university in Canada. I went to SMAK 5 BPK Penabur before I moved to Canada. Believe me, it’s almost impossible to get 90s average (at least for me), especially for science courses. To get 90s average you have to try extra hard. …


My state of Figma

I have known Figma since mid-2016 but I finally invested in it by the end of 2016. Honestly speaking, my only reason to use Figma was that I didn’t own a Mac but I really wanted to get into the design (I know I know I can use Illustrator or Photoshop, but bear with me). Even though I’ve been using Photoshop and Illustrator for the longest time, using these two tools feels very clunky and heavy for designing UI. Sketch was a better option at that time but I didn’t own a Mac.
