Self Representations on Social Media
Nathalie Nivasnanda

I don’t know if there is social media creates a separate stage. I think in terms of how we consume information, social media can act as a “middle stage” because a person does not necessarily have post or be present on social media to consume the information. You can kind of sit tight, without making any waves and take it all in. So in that sense I believe it is a “middle stage” but in terms of posting I think there is not middle stage. As soon as you post something, you’re on the front stage, even if you’re not trying to be.
