The box and the couple

A man and a woman were married for a long long time, something like 60 years of relationship. They had no secrets to each other, except a box that stayed on their closet and the woman used to ask to her husband to never talk about it.

A long time has passed away, and so the woman got sick. The physician said she won’t get well, and probably she was going to die soon. Then the man took the box to the hospital where she was hospitalized and then, for the first time in their lives, tried to make up her mind that that day was the right day to he find out what that box was. She agreed and then they opened the box. When the woman opened it, there was two crochet dolls and about U$95,000. He, amazed with the quantity of money which was lyin’ in that small box, asked frenetically — Yes, he was a little bitty CRAZY. But c’mom! He was almost 90 — why there was two crochet dolls and money that much. She said that she used to made a crochet doll up every time she got disappointed at him. So this means she got disappointed only two times at him, right?! Okay! — He said — That’s the why of the dolls, but where does this money come from? And then she said: Ohh! This money is what I’ve gather with the sale of the others dolls that I’ve made up during our whole couple life
