The Economy is Back

Unemployment is steady at 5%, the U.S. Economy has added 292,000 jobs in the month of December. The Department of Labor reports that unemployment rate has stayed at 5% for the third straight month, or in other words more Americans are looking for jobs and many of those who were looking for jobs have found a job. This is the second best year for job gains since 1999. The report also showed that wages are going up, which is another indicator of how the economy is doing.

The GOP responded by trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, they have now taken over 60 votes to repeal. President Obama issued the veto.

The Economy is back and the Democrats have a wonderful record going into the 2016 Presidential Election. The Democrats will be able to make the case to voters, that if they want the economy to continue to grow they will elect the Democratic Nominee to the White House.
