One Word that describes how I work: Focused

What apps/software/tools can’t you live without? Why?

I cannot live without Microsoft Office Products. Every one of my classes uses Word documents, Power points, or Excel Spreadsheets, and it is able to aid my learning in many different ways.

What is your best time saving shortcut/life hack?

The best time saving shortcut I can offer is to put away your phone when you are trying to be productive. Eliminating technological distractions is the fastest way to reduce the time spent on doing work.

What everyday thing are you better at than everybody else? What is your secret?

One thing that I am very good at is not procrastinating, and getting my work done in a timely fashion. I am able to do this because I am very motivated, and I enjoy giving 100% in everything I do. Very rarely do I have to scramble to finish something last minute.

What do you listen to while you work?

I don’t listen to anything while I work. I have found that listening to music or podcasts is too distracting for me and has a negative impact on the quality of the work I do, so I prefer to study in silence.

What’s the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice I have ever received was from my Father. He taught me the importance of never giving up. If I wasn’t good at something as a child, he would tell me that I am not good at it yet, and that to be good at anything you need to practice and be dedicated.

Where do you find inspiration and new ideas?

I find most of my inspiration and new ideas from online sources. Whether it be from Twitter or Facebook, or news apps such as CNN, they are many different sources of information that I look at quite often. Being able to instantly read about current events and popular topics helps me to stay in touch with the outside world, and to keep my worldview current.

What is your favorite Quote?

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts”

— Winston Churchill
