When “little” Tamir Rice took to the street that day with his very real looking toy gun, he wasn’t playing “cops and robbers,” or “cowboys and Indians.” No, he was playing “OG,” where you turn the gun sideways while pretending to “cap” some “sucka” in his hindquarters. And of course “OG” means Original Gangster, a term derived from the hip-hop world of sociopath murderers and gang members. So the question is raised…how long before “little” Tamir had himself a real gun? How long before he was shooting the good folks of Cleveland — whether while attempting to rob them, or in the act of redressing some perceived disrespect? Do we really miss Tamir — or his buddies — at all?
