Hillary’s not in trouble yet.

If Mrs. Clinton really has just 15% of 20-somethings, then the Democrats may be headed for a Sanders nomination, and that means another McGovern Moment. If you’re too young to remember ‘72, that means: (1) crowds of enthusiastic youth; (2) non-stop Republican ads claiming the military will be furloughed; and, (3) a loss of 48 states.

But none of this means Hillary is in personal trouble. I can say that because I know what the role of the Press has become. They are no longer about Newscraft, but Imagecraft.

I’ll know Hillary’s in real trouble when the press runs images that look like the Hillary shots on conservative sites, where she’s always in mid-cackle, looking like she’s being electrocuted, or spotting a long-lost college roommate.

Only when the respectable media starts showing us her at Full Awkward will we know that they have cued us that Hillary is finished.
