The Need to Remember the Gospel

We should remember the love of Jesus, shown in the Gospel for us. The message of the spotless Lamb of God who died for us while we were yet sinners — this message should inspire gratitude in our hearts.

A Christian who contemplates the Gospel will be grateful to his Lord; and, a grateful Christian will always live better than a Christian who has forgotten what Jesus has done for him. Think often about the love of God in Christ.

We should also remember Jesus’ words within the Gospel. Jesus said, If you love Me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15) He told His disciples to teach others to obey all His commands. When we read His words, and those of His apostles, we learn what that obedience entails — and we reach out to the Holy Spirit for His help in living in a way that pleases God.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
