As president of Economics & Family, Inc., Nick Yekani oversees a successful advisory/wealth management firm with three California-based offices. He also hosts the weekly Economics and Family Radio program on Radio Hamrah. Through is work, Nick Yekani has interviewed and collaborated with well-known figures in the financial world, including the economist Robert Schiller.

The Sterling Professor of Economics at Yale University, Dr. Robert Schiller earned a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before launching his career as a highly regarded economist. He is also an influential author of more than a dozen books on economic topics.

Dr. Schiller’s books include Irrational Exuberance, which explores the speculative manias that drive the stock market booms and lead to economic bubbles. In his most recent book, 2019’s Narrative Economics: How Stories Go Viral and Drive Economic Events, he discusses how popular stories in the public sphere can influence collective economic behavior.

In addition to his writing, Dr. Schiller has produced some of the tools and methods used to take a conservative look at the financial markets. These include the S&P/Case-Schiller Home Price Indices and the CAPE ratio. For his work, Dr. Schiller was awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
