I can see that you wrote this around 5 years ago but I’ve only just read it for the first time today, having just joined ‘Medium’. A really lovely story, thanks for sharing! Glad you enjoyed the skydive — it’s become almost a spiritual pursuit for me over the years. It’s far less macho and daredevil than most people think and many would be surprised at the types of people who regularly jump. Sensible guys — doctors, teachers, scientists, nurses and well yes, stunt people too — the whole gamut of life is there!
