In Davos Macron promotes France as a Nation of entrepreneurs — against the current Government

I was at the Élysée Palace last October to attend the French-German conference on accelerating digital transformation: http://www.bmwi.de/EN/Press/press-releases,did=736812.html

What struck me most was indeed how Macron pushed for entrepreneurship, that came unexpected for me, since our vision of the france economy is that it is even more focused on old corporates (some even state owned) than Germany.

Also, during the workshops among entrepreneurs from Germany and France, one common theme emerged: everybody was focused on their own respective county or looking abroad to London or Silicon Valley, but the axis Berlin-Paris was almost non-existent. How odd, given that both countries have been traditionally the driving force behind european collaboration.
