I haven’t read all of this but I highly disagree with your statement: “With fewer regulations by the month, America is more free today than at the end of the administration of our last authoritarian, Obama. The constitution, which Obama repeatedly attacked, is the thing that guarantees (notice I did not say “gives us”) our freedom.”
Regulations by restricting some people’s freedom, guarantees other people’s freedom. Freedom of an employer to pay people not enough to live on versus the freedom & rights of the employee to earn enough to live and when you are broke, starving then you aren’t free to choose another job.
Regulations or laws that say prevent the Governor of Michigan or any company changing water supplies whilst making sure if they did that the water was treated to be safe would have kept the people of Flint, Michigan from drinking lead water. Again regulations that protect people from harm by others.
Freedom is always a balance because so many people’s freedoms conflict with one another.
