It is because a) the books are published through a publisher and I am on a 25% royalty after Amazon has taken their cut and b) the book’s price changes and has often been as low as 69 cents. Add in free promotions (I once had 3500 free copies downloaded in a couple of days) and the per book royalty has worked out at 0.08GBP per book.
