I agreed with almost everything you wrote here. There is, among human society, a sense of domination and objectification of nature and all that is nature-related, wild-like. And this have to stop if we want real progress as a species. Within our bodies we find that same wildness that civilization want's to control. This causes objectification of humans too. That is the center of the matter. But there's something I would like to add: do we really understand animals? We can really say they are less intelligent, less complex? Althought there's empathy, which is essential to achieve some humilty and be aware of our violence, no human will never experience exactly what an animal do. I think this point is abscent in general vegan discussion and it shouldn't.
