My Body Still Sucks

I was going to write something about volleyball, but it seems like most of you have already done that. So I’ll write about what personally happened to me today, right before our championship game.

I woke up this morning with my eyes glued shut. They refused to open. The lights hurt so bad that I had to shower with the lights off and get ready in the dark. I still couldn’t see, so Lauren drove me to the school. I had to ride in the car with sunglasses on and teo blankets over my head because the sunlight was unbearable. I was in excruciating pain and discomfort. As we got on the bus to go to Glens Falls, my eyes starting to feell a little better. I was able to take the sunglasses and blankets off my head to look at lights by the time we got to the Civic Center.

My eyes kept watering before our game, so I put more eye drops then. By the time opening ceremonies starting, my eyes weren’t any better. IN fact, they were worse. I was able to make it through warm ups and everything, but I couldn’t take the lights in the gym anymore because my eyes were so bad. I sat on the bench the entire game with sunglasses on and looked ridiculous. But I couldn’t help it. I was in so much pain and couldn’t see anything..

I went to urgent care when I got home and they gave me better medicine. Apparently I just have a really bod form of pink eye.

So yeah, my body sucks and there continues to be something wrong with me almost everyday.
