There is a fear there- I think rejection is a big part of it. Sometimes I think people don't know what to do so doing nothing [and staring blankly] is the freeze response they get stuck in.
It's articles like these that can help that though. Knowing a Mom just needs encouraging and kind words, no more no less, might help others use their space differently.
