Copyright does not cover:
- Ideas/ thoughts/plans.
- Work created as part of normal employment.
- Facts.
- Anything already copyrighted.
Copyright is automatically assigned but you can use the copyright symbol on your work. You should create line & IPTC fields. Gives owner the right to control: what media it’s on and how/ where it’s used.
Things to think about:
- Creative commons.
- Plymouth students of IPR.
- What’s the going rate/base rate: getting you thinking and gives you a starting point?
Invoicing: In pairs we went through all the things we needed for an invoice and then at the end of the discussion we though as a whole group and drew up an example of what an invoice should look like and what it should contain.
