Storyteller by Queen Carrie

I think Carrie Underwood is a country woman, not just an ordinary country singer. She’s incredibly talented, her voice is pure and sounds incredible live. I feel like she is a singer for men and women; not just women like to listen to her. Gender isn’t the only way to think of her. She doesn’t just sing about women things. She sings to all and isn’t sexist. Who d0esn’t like to jam out to Carrie Underwood? I do not think she sounds like Miranda, she has more rasp to her voice and can sing live. Miranda is more of a generic singer in my opinion. It’s absolutely unfair to compare Carrie to Taylor. Carrie’s voice is strong and pure, while Taylor’s voice is young and not as developed. I believe Heart sounds a lot like Renegade Runaway but I really like the song; it’s a mix of country and pop. A music critic needs a lot of background knowledge in music to offer insightful commentary. I don’t think analogy is necessarily the best course when writing a music review. I don’t believe she “gave up on Jesus”, she’s just singing about different things. You can still smoke but believe in Jesus. I can tell the difference between Miranda and Carrie, because Carrie has a twang and tone to her voice that I can differentiate. Miranda sounds too autotuned to me. Relapse doesn’t sound like country, it sounds more like a pop and R&B type of song to me. She sounds bit like Janis, but not entirely. Janis sounds more rock to me. I LOVE Before He Cheats, it’s one of her best. It’s genius. I feel like she’s really good with the cheating men. I think Two Black Cadillacs and Before He Cheats sound alike but they’re both amazing. I think Carrie is a powerful woman. Everyone gets in relationships just like everyone else, but then falls into a breakup like everyone else. The song “Good Girl” sums up her power in a song.
