End Of K-12 Buying Cycle Approaches

There may be eight more weeks left of the school year and of the districts buying frenzy, but the promise of summer is tempting to many. With the warm breeze of spring’s dismissal, it is hard to not think of the BBQ and lazy beach days.

These last eight weeks can be the difference between making or breaking your KPI’s. Are you feeling the sweet signal of summer or the scorch of the hot sun?

Either way, try these quick tips to lock down a few more sales before that final bell.

Look For the Remaining Funds

Educate yourself on the funds available on a federal, state and local level. There are many remaining funds available, including some the districts may not even know about. Dr. Jennifer House did an amazing webinar back in March, which highlights some great strategies. Check out the recording here.

Value Add with Training

Schools look for solutions that help solve their current problems. They don’t want a solution that causes more headaches due to lack of training. Ensure you’re adding value with adequate training to all levels.

Summer Programs

More and more schools are staying open for the summer and have separate budgets for that period. If your product or service can be utilized for summer programs, find the schools that are open and begin the conversation.

With the extra daylight hours, you will be sure to be able to squeeze in a few more deals while still having time to enjoying the sun. It’s time to stop worrying about your KPIs and start worrying about your SPF.
