Creating an all inclusive cultural-community classroom with Practices
Ruben Samaniego III

Ruben, your brought in some really great points of the actual connotation and denotation of some of these things such as culture and community. I think it is very important to remember that a classroom must contain more than their race or ethnicity’s culture but their own culture. Culture is so much more than what is normally portrayed in schools. We see too much of the same stereotypes. I’m not saying that it isn’t part of our cultures but there is so much more to us than those obvious and stereotypical points. Mind Maps sound like a cool strategy to use in the classroom. I am going to try and look into that more.
