Just enough knowledge to be dangerous

One of the best things about being a stay at home mom (SAHM), is being able to capture every day moments of mischief and discovery all day long.

Improving this skill is an ongoing labor of love for my family, along the way I have found amazing mentors and quick tips that make a WORLD of difference.

I know my life will not always be characterized by skinned knees and messy faces, so I want to capture as many moments like these while I still can!

I LOVE blurry backgrounds and crisp subjects. If you are using your phone to take the picture (and want this effect) get close to your subject and separate them from the background. If you are using a manual camera, a low aperture setting ( I like using 4 or smaller for one subject) will give you a beautiful blur!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
