It doesn’t matter that it’s “for fun,” that you’re not making money from it, or that you (incorrectly) assume that we have different audiences. What matters is that you’ve copied material without permission, and you’re in violation of copyright law.

I appreciate that you enjoy our magazine, and I’m thrilled you want to share our content, but there are correct ways to do it that fall within fair use (such as quoting very brief excerpts and linking back to the original for people who want to read the full text), and sharing URLs through social media.

I don’t want to fight, I want you to understand and respect copyright law, and remove content that is found to be infringing upon this law.
