Compound is a blog where people can discuss their experiences of being a mesh of things. Originally conceived to be a digital a space to talk about personal feelings around race and identity as artists and creatives, Compound welcomes contributions that examine hybridity, Otherness, rejection, liminality, and anything that is outside or in between.

Who we are:
Nicole Rademacher is Compound’s founder, artist, creative strategist, and content curator. Spearheading community engagement projects and social media strategies both nationally and internationally, Nicole has worked with organizations such as LOOP Video Art Festival (Barcelona, Spain), Nairobi National Museum, 18th Street Arts Center (Santa Monica, CA), and currently at the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.

She has exhibited and screened her work worldwide including Transmediale, Harvestworks, re-new Digital Art Forum, LOOP Video Art Festival, the Gallery of the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, the Chilean Consulate (NYC), and at LAX Airport.
