Consider the cost of an under-educated population.
Many individuals are against Universal Higher Education on the basis that it is cost prohibitive. But what are the implications and costs of a population that is under-education?
What if an individual - who is by all metrics unfit for a leadership position - could convince a largely under educated contingent that he was the best candidate for the position, simply based on his ‘gusto’ and ‘moxie’? What would the cost of an unqualified leader in the most powerful position in the world be?
We have to assess the cost of an under educated majority in order to make the argument that Universal Higher Education is cost prohibitive. If Trump becomes president, we will have the opportunity to do so in a very tangible way.
