EATREAT TO COPYTREAT

A group (Eatreat) which call themselves a hub of intellects of foodies and restaurateurs but in this group, veterans (self-proclaimed) indulge in posting copied pictures to gain publicity for a day is shameless.

Imagine there are 50k people on this group and the copied picture posted by the owner/founder of the group was up for more than 17 hours with more than 1.2k likes and 20+ comments about how nice is the picture and weather etc until I called their lie.

The picture was lifted from somebody’s picture blog. Coming to the integrity of the group- when I highlighted that its a copied picture and its should be always posted with the credit, instead of removing the copied post- I was taken out of the group. When such ‘influential’ and prominent people indulge is such practices, what kind of example they leave? I really feel if you are running a group so large it is important to be honest and refrain from posting such disastorous copied post because “publicity for a day can loose the credibility for thelifetime”.
