Cameron Highlands !
Beautiful district in Pahang, Malaysia. Away from busy city life – in the lap of nature.

Key places to visit:
- Cameron Bharat Tea Garden: Lush green tea valleys very soothing to your eyes. The Masala Chai at the cafe is a must have for Indians. The best tea in Cameron Highlands, why not the tea gardens are owned by an Indian :)

- Old Town White Coffee: Best coffee ever ! I am Starbucks lover but coffee at this coffee shop was to die for. Must visit for coffee lovers.
- Big Red Strawberry Farm: The highlight of this place was pick your own strawberry and lettuce for your deserts and salad. Must eat Strawberry Sundae and Salad Bowl (unique mix of strawberries, lettuce, carrots, cherry tomatoes and loads of dressings)

One very important to note is the traffic in Cameron Highlands. We visited here on an extended weekend and it took us 7+ hours to reach Cameron Highlands from Kuala Lumpur airport, journey of 257 kms took 7+ hours which was 4 hours as per google maps. Highly recommend to not come to Cameron Highlands over the weekend/public holidays. Even traveling internally within the district to visit tourist attractions took lot of time like 60 mins to cover 4 kms.
Hotels in Cameron Highlands don’t have Aircons. Surprised? Don’t be ! You won’t need them at all. Very cool and cozy place.
