Dear little sister,

I have a bucket full of lessons learned until the age of nineteen. Now, I am here to tell you a few lessons for your teens. One thing for sure, this world is cruel and wants to tear you into pieces. Even then, grab some tape to stick together the gaps dividing politics.

Still, you will never be able to solve all problems. There might be tensions in your own neighborhood, creating a difference in opinion. Your opinion matters, and I hope you fight for what is right. There will be conflicts spanning the Atlantic ocean. But, don’t be ever be afraid to try and bridge continents together, no matter the miles.

Every once in a while, visit a museum to understand magnificent creations of human kind. You might realize the colors saturating your own life. They blend together creating a snapshot of time. It’s beautiful how your eyes can see past the differences to look into souls. But, do not ever hold onto souls, for you are not the devil. However, believe me, when I say, there are angels among us. They be strangers or lovers, but they are here forever. It may even be you.

Do not ever let this world get to you. It may be hard, when days are long, and your heart is broken. But, you are not. There will be days when your legs will give out. I shall hope there will never be days when your hands are tied up. For the world owes to protect you, and you owe yourself to do something extraordinary. Your mind is the key to unlocking doors of your future, and your hands were made to invent- a better world.

Love,

Your big sis
