Adversity Breeds Mastery

Huge explosion ripped through the convoy. The escorting soldiers sprang out of the van just to die under enemy fire.

Tony Stark was the last to dive out to hide behind a rock only to be accompanied by a 120mm grenade. The logo on the explosive said Stark Industries. That’s how the journey of transformation began for Iron Man.

With a shrapnel in his heart, being held hostage, there were only two options for Mr Stark. To bitch and whine about the bad luck OR face the facts start to work.

Of course, it’s obvious what he chose.

The same script applies to most of you personal and professional adversity. When you resist the circumstance, you give away the opportunity of a level up.

There is no point to bitch and blame the lack of time, resources, bad bosses or idots around you. The world is already the way it is. It doesn’t ask for your consent.

Basically you’re left with only one decision.

When will you face it like a hero? When will you start working? Do what works, with what you’ve got!
