In modern society a lot of people deal with a huge amount of hate on a daily basis. Often it can be a result of difference between the so called bullies (people who spread the hate) and targets (people who are getting hate). While hatred can have a positive impact on us: it allows us to grow, become stronger and drop our bad characteristics, it can also lead to many health problems and mentally drain us. Today I would like to give you a closer look on what hatred really is.

At a certain point of our lives we all have used this word and a lot of times we did not even mean it. For example our teacher gave us bad grade and we blamed him for receiving it. We became furious and said out of anger : “Oh, I hate him so much! “ Looking back we tend to laugh at this kind of situations, but they had a huge impact on our future life and understanding of hate. Nowadays it is hard for us to separate real hate from anger. Even the definitions in some dictionaries are getting messed up, because of this word losing it’s actual meaning.

Hate is a strong word, which gets misunderstood quite often in society we live in. If we get asked when we received or felt hate, we probably won’t bring up our anger on untied shoelaces or at a our friend eating our meal, even tho back then we claimed to hate them. I believe that hate doesn’t just come and go, it stays with us for a longer period of time. It becomes a part of us.
